AutoCAD Plot Tutorials
Filters And Settings
In an effort to find a few bright spots in the Layer Properties Manager introduced in AutoCAD 2005, this month I look at a couple workable features in the Filter Tree side of that dialog box. And since very few of us work in a vacuum, somewhere along the line you will receive a drawing using a different plot style table than yours. There`s a very simple solution to that. There`s also a very simple solution to drawing and editing objects without using @distance
Fun, Final, And Fundamentals
For the last several versions now, the Publish command has been largely overlooked. Sheet Sets are great, but when you have a number of layouts to plot, the Publish dialog box is the best `batch plot` utility. If you have a drawing open when you launch the Publish command, the drawing`s Model and Layout tabs are listed. In addition to managing the list of sheets, you can also opt to output the drawings to the device named in the page setup for each sheet listed, or create a multi-page DWF file.
Autocad Q&a: Put A Plot Stamp On A Drawing
The answer to this is probably obvious, but where are the plot stamps in AutoCAD 2000i? In AutoCAD Release 14, they were located in HPCONFIG.
Drawing With Autocad R14 - Aalto`s Church
Aim The aim of this tutorial is to give you a taste of the processes necessary to produce simple 2D line drawings. By the end of this tutorial you will be able to produce (and plot on a laser printer) any 2D drawing of modest complexity made up of graphics entities such as lines, arcs, etc.
Venturing Into Plotting
In this fourth (and final) AutoCAD tutorial you will learn how to plot drawings. In doing this you will learn about paper space and viewports

Lesson 05 - Polylines
A whole tutorial dedicated to the mighty polyline - probably the most useful command in AutoCAD. Polylines draw lines similar to the line command we used in lesson 2, but are a lot more powerful. Let`s start by drawing the same plot of land we drew in lesson 2, but this type using polylines. The polyline command is situated on the `draw` toolbar.
Get Presentation-quality Displays From 3d Drawings
If you`ve been wondering how to display and plot presentation-quality graphics of your 3D AutoCAD 2000i drawings, this short tutorial is for you.
Autocad 2000 - T4 Venturing Into Plotting
This tutorial has been prepared for students at the Faculty of the Built Environment learning AutoCAD. It has been placed on the Web to facilitate access by those students and because I believe others may find the material of use!

Working With The External Reference Manager
An AutoCAD drawing file often references other filesâ€â€such as other drawings (via the XREF functionality) as well as plot styles, images, standards, and font files associated with the drawing. The references, or dependencies, are simply an embedded record of the path to the referenced objects or files. Theses references and their relationships can, however, become quite complex as anyone who works with these types of drawings can attest.
