Using editable regions in Dreamweaver - Dreamweaver tutorial

Once you have got your layout, click where you want to put your editable region and go Insert > Template Objects > Editable Region.

Name your Editable Region: Content

Now to save your template, go File > Save as Template... name your template and click Save.

Now to start a new page of your site with your template, go File > New click Templates and go and find your template and click Creat.

You will now have a page like this, you will not be able to edit any of the html page apart from in your Editable Region, this is where your content goes. To save your page go File > Save as.
