GRADIENT OVERLAY

In this gradient option,set the colors for it as below ,by editing the gradient.

After setting all these values,the fire shape looks as this.

You can also give some more effect by duplicating this layer and give it a motion blur effect from

filters-->blur-->motion blur. Also set the opacity of this new layer to about 60 %.
