Add rain to a photography - Photoshop tutorial

Let it rain ! Here we will create a simple rain effect that you can apply to any image or photo

Now we will learn how to add a rain effect to any image

Step 1

Open the image you would like to add the effect of rain to.

Step 2

Then create a new layer and fill it with white colour

Step 3

Now go to Filter-> Noise -> Add noise

Step 4

This would be the result

Then apply motion blur with the angle you would like to have your rain falling

and change the blending option to screen

Now it should look like this:

Now press ctrl + M and change the curve from the middle acc. to the intensity of the rain
