Step 4

Now go back to the layers palette and double click on the background layer so the layers lock is released thus allowing ya to apply some effects to it. Lets add some lighting effects to this layer now. Choose filters--->render--->lighting effects. Set the values in the dialogue box with the fillowing values.

Step 5

Now that our background is made, let's add some text which looks as if it is engraved on it. Choose some text and font of your choice. Make sure that the text size is big enough to be appeared as engraved on rock. Apply the following blending options to this text layer.

The final output is as below. I've tried different color combinations for the clouds so that different shades of rocks can be made.
