Basic Modeling Techniques: Tutorial 6: Sweeps And Blends - Pro/ENGINEER tutorial
Sweeping and blending are useful techniques for designing parts which may be difficult to model with extrusions or revolves. Unlike these other modeling techniques, sweeps and blends allow for parts with varying cross-sections and parts that twist or bend. In this section you will created a constant cross-section U-shaped part using a sweep and a vase using a blend.

Lesson 27 - Intersect Tool
The intersect tool is used to create datum curves by either the intersection of two surfaces, or the projection of two curves/sketches. In Lesson 10 - Datums Part 2, we saw how to use two surfaces to make a curve, in this lesson, we will learn how to intersect two curves to make a new one, as well as making a curve at the intersection of a datum plane and solid model (similar to the Xsec datum curve).
Gd&t > Creating Frames > Application
Based on the characteristic, the system allows you to specify all other required information. For example, if you are defining a position frame, the system allows you to select a feature the frame applies to and reference datums. If you are defining a form feature, such as straightness, the system allows you to specify the tolerance and the tolerance zone but does not allow you to select reference datums.
Exercise 4: Creating Drawings
Overview- In this exercise you will learn basic drawing creation skills by creating a 2-sheet drawing called ENGINE_COMPONENTS, detailing the ENGINE assembly and the CONNECTING_ROD: ENGINE_COMPONENTS.DRW - sheet 1 ENGINE_COMPONENTS.DRW - sheet 2
Lesson 10 - Curve Operations
Lesson Objective: In this lesson, we will learn how to make multiple curve edits, copy curves, offset curves, and importing datum curves.
