This tool creates a feature by revolving a sketched section around a centerline. Use the Revolve tool as one of the basic creation methods that allows you to create a revolved geometry as a solid or surface, and to add or remove material.

When you need to create a large scale view of a small portion of your part, you can add a Detailed view to your drawing. A Detailed view is created from an existing view and can be placed at any scale. The Detailed view is also automatically trimmed to a spline to limit its display to a small portion of the part.
