Lesson 05 - Sketch Feature - Pro/ENGINEER tutorial
The Sketch feature is used to create a curve on a 2D plane or planar surface. This curve can then be used to create a variety of different features.

How To - 2d: Draw
When a new design is created, the default view is isometric. Drawing shapes in isometric may be difficult in some cases. It may be more convenient to view onto the workplane by pressing Shift + w on the keyboard.
Exercise 5: Model Associativity
Overview- In this exercise you will experiment with associativity between part, assembly, and drawing modes. Associativity allows a change to be made in one mode to be reflected automatically in the other modes. You will perform the following tasks: Modify a part model and viewing the updated assembly. Examine interference in the assembly. Modifying a dimension from the drawing and view the updated part. Re-examine the assembly to verify the interference has been resolved.
Gd&t > Setting Datums > Application
When you set a datum, the system displays the GD&T standard flag at the origin of the Datum name. You can then move the flag to an acceptable location. The system displays the flag in any view on the drawing where the datum plane is perpendicular to the screen.
Importing 2d Drawings
You can start using the AutobuildZ set of tools on a Pro/ENGINEER drawing in session to create 3D content. In most cases, standalone 2D drawings are created by importing 2D data from different sources (such as AutoCAD DWG or DXF) into Pro/ENGINEER.
