Setting Up A Sketch (concept)
Setting Up A Sketch (concept)
Many features you will create are defined using a 2D Sketch. The Sketch is (typically) created as a part of an overall process of creating a piece of solid geometry (a feature).

Clean Up Of Imported Drawings
Clean Up Of Imported Drawings
In many cases, when you import a 2D drawing into Pro/ENGINEER, you get all the design content in the form of dimensions, notes, symbols and draft entities such as lines, arcs, circles, etc. that in most cases really represent the geometry of the model. Some of these entities such as dimension, notes, etc. are not used directly to define the feature. You will move such entities to specially created layers which are then blanked.

Pro/engineer Wildfire 2.0 Isdx Lesson 07 - Curve On Surface
Lesson Objective: In this lesson, we will learn how to create curves projected onto surfaces, and talk about using 4 viewpoints.

Trimming Surfaces (application)
Trimming Surfaces (application)
There are two basic methods available to trim surfaces - using existing entities (quilts, curves, datum planes) or creating entities specifically for the trim operation. In the later case, you create new surfaces using the standard surface functions (Extrude, Revolve, Sweep, etc.), except that you remove geometry rather than add it.

Lesson 12 - Working With Sketches
Lesson Objective: In this lesson, we will learn how to use image files as a basis for creating models using style. Included in this lesson will be how to import images, and how to scale and position images.
