Black and white forum signature - Photoshop tutorial

Welcome, today you will learn how to make this signature :

Make a new document 400 by 90 and fill it with black

Now press ‘’ d ‘’ on your keyboard, and do ‘’ filter – render – clouds ‘’ and move that layer to the left side of the tag.

Make again a new layer, press again ‘’ d ‘’ and do again ‘’ filter – render – clouds ‘’ but this time move it to the right side of the tag .

Now past your render in the middle.

Copy your render, and set it to luminosity.

Apply image on a new layer ‘’ image – apply image ‘’ then select your rectangular marquee tool and select parts of the clouds and copy past them do that 3 times, then delete the applied layer, and move the copy past parts to other places . This is what u will have if u done this good :

Take your pencil tool and a hard round brush 1px big and make lines around the render, make the lines in white. Then do ‘’ filter – distort – ripple ‘’ and then set the layer to lighten.

Make a new layer , and with your pencil tool make random dots around the render, use for this white color and 1px big brush set the layer to dissolve

Make a new layer, take your brush tool and with a soft round brush, make a dot on the left side of the render, set the layer to overlay.

Make again a dot in white, with your soft round brush, but this time make the dot on the right side of the head, make it a little bit on the head self set the layer to overlay .

Make a new layer, take your brush tool and make random dots around the render, use for this a soft round brush around 10 – 15 pixels big, then take your smudge tool and smudge the dots a bit.

Make a new layer, take your pencil tool and make lines on the left and right side of the render, leave the lines on the right side but smudge the lines on the left side, smudge just a bit. Leave the layer at normal

Make a new layer and select some cool grunge brushes, then brush in black on the sides of the tag, set the layer to soft light.

Again but this time brush a bit in the middle of both sides set the layer to soft light .

Brush with a soft round brush on the left side of the tag, use for this black color and your brush tool, set the layer to soft light at 33% opacity.

Make a new layer, select your sharpen tool and sharpen the render and the dots and the lines around him. Use for the sharpen a soft round brush around 40 – 50 pixels big.

Make a new layer, and make 3 lighting dots around the render, one on the left side of the render (bottom ) one on the right side of the render ( bottom ) and on the right side of the head ( top ) make the dots in white and use for this brush tool and a soft round brush around 60 – 70pixels big lower the opacity to 55%

Add gradient map ‘’ layer – new adjustment layer – gradient map ‘’ and use this one :

Set it to Luminosity at 45% opacity.

Make a new layer and take your brush tool, with a soft round brush around 70 – 100pixels big make the sides a bit darker by brushing there, after u done with brushing set the layer to soft light at 55% opacity.
