I am going to show you a basic reactor setup to help you get started. After that its just a matter of experimenting with the parameters to get different effects and more what you would like to achieve.

In this tutorial we will learn how to create a paper clip scene in 3ds max using reactor. Follow the below link for more details....

Hi there and welcome to this fun, easy tutorial which is going to teach you a couple more things about Reactor. Here’s the scenario. Two cars are going to come speeding down a track, bumping into each other and off against the walls, jump over a ramp and then fall into a swimming pool. Follow the step by step instructions for more details....

I’m sure you have all seen the lottery machine in action. They are usually glass spheres with metal arms inside that rotate around, mixing the balls up. Then a little hole opens up at the bottom where one of the balls with a lucky number falls down. This is what we are going to create in this new tutorial. Follow the step by step instructions for more details....

A Rube Goldberg machine is an exceedingly complex apparatus that performs a very simple task in a very indirect and convoluted way. They are usually made of household items and take longer to make than do the actual task they were designed for. Good fun though. Here, our machine is going to perform a very simple task. Follow the step by step instructions for more details....

Have you ever wanted to animate a car crash or any objects colliding, flying through the air. If you've tried that you know it's very difficult if at all possible to manually keyframe such animations. There's a solution off course, Reactor, a system built into 3ds max to animate collision and thing like that using physics.
We'll teach you the basics, a simple car crashing into a wall of boxes, reactor does most of the work for us, we just have to adjust some settings and that's it!

This tutorial will explore one of the many functions of Reactor in 3DS Max, which is a powerful tool that lets us simulate various real-life physics so that we can, for example, simulate physical behaviours such as wind and motors.
