eDrawings are often created as .exe files. Microsoft Outlook blocks potentially dangerous attachments such as .exe files. Outlook will prevent an eDrawing from being saved, opened or forwarded to another email address. Fortunately, there is fairly easy trick to get around this (or any blocked attachment for that matter). For other ways to do this, see the attached link.

When working with eDrawings you can save as a web page and post it onto your website without the eDrawing user interface. To achieve this create an eDrawing. In the eDrawing application select File, Save as, pick htm as the file type and create a web page. When the web page has been generated open it in Internet Explorer, right-click and select view source.
